Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 1:1 patient ratio
* On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift every week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
* EP/Cath experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
* Charting system: Epic
* Community hospital experience required
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of approximately 20 cases across 5 rooms
* Performs peripheral and coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Skills required include: cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, diagnostic cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology (EP) lab, Impella insertion, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, monitoring and administration of procedural sedation
* Special equipment used includes: Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
