Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

* Inpatient/acute care pharmacist position working day shifts
* Shift times will vary
* Block scheduling type
* 8 weekend shifts per contract (4 weekends)
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Must float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 100 patients
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh, and Kansas State license all must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Facility:

This inpatient facility operates with a daily census of approximately 100 patients and serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy, creating a collaborative environment for healthcare professionals.
