Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Daily caseload of 6.5 out of 8 hours contact time with individual treatment times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes
* Occasional weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Primary position in Inpatient Rehab Program with potential float to acute care based on census fluctuations
* Work within a hospital-based inpatient rehab facility on the 9th floor with 28 patient beds
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 to 3 years of experience with Inpatient Rehab Facility required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior IRF experience
* Current South Carolina state licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Required skills: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting completed using Epic
* Scrub color: Misty Grey (light grey/silver)
* No parking costs associated with this assignment
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submission

Facility:

This facility is a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the 9th floor of a large 396-bed hospital. The inpatient rehab program provides specialized rehabilitation services to patients requiring intensive therapy, with a dedicated unit of 28 patient beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains high standards of patient care, supported by a multidisciplinary team across both inpatient rehab and acute care settings.
