Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1994.08

Opportunity:

ICU RN

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, with agency staff floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Preferred charting system experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Block scheduling approval can be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission
* Key skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, cardiac telemetry, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, tracheostomy care and management, and wound care

Facility:

This facility is a 12-bed intensive care unit offering specialized critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams and utilizes Epic for charting. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and expects staff to float within scope as needed to meet patient care demands across the organization.
