Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist Days

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
* Work with both adult and pediatric patients across a wide variety of diagnoses
* Position is primarily pediatric hospital outpatient with some adult inpatient coverage as needed
* Outpatient clinic is attached to the hospital via a tunnel and is located across the street
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers are welcome
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required skills include: Infection Prevention, Fall/Risk Assessment, National Patient Safety Goals/Core Measures, Billing, Acute Disorder, Assessment, Chronic Disorder, Functional Activities, and Developmental Testing/Treatment
* Preferred skills include: Neurodevelopment Testing, Adaptive Equipment Assessment, Mental Retardation, Myofascial Release Techniques, and Feeding/Swallowing
* Additional skills experience across a broad range of occupational therapy areas is beneficial, including but not limited to: Activities of Daily Living, Acute Care, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Assessment, CVA Rehabilitation, Hand Injury, Sensory Integration, Spinal Cord Injury, and Traumatic Brain Injury

This facility operates both an inpatient hospital and an outpatient clinic, serving a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The outpatient clinic is conveniently connected to the main hospital via an internal tunnel, allowing for seamless coordination between outpatient and inpatient care.
