Opportunity:

Registered Dietitian - Outpatient

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
* 36 hours per week
* 8 patient visits per day with a daily census of 8
* Patients are adult population
* Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement
* 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred
* Experience providing, managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility and/or with bariatric patients preferred
* Bachelor's Degree required if RD credential acquired before 01/01/2024; Master's Degree required if RD credential acquired after 01/01/2024
* Degree must satisfy requirements of a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) or Foreign Dietitian Education Program approved by ACEND
* Completion of an ACEND-approved Dietetic Internship or equivalent program required
* Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
* Licensed Dietitian credential required
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN
* Skills required: Adult Outpatient/Clinic, Calorie Counts, Dietary Guidelines, Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings), Fluid Balance, Malabsorption Syndromes, Morbid Obesity, Nutrient Deficiencies, Nutrition Assessments/Reassessments, Nutrition Therapy Complications, Post-Op Gastric Bypass
* Must demonstrate understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for a variety of patient populations
* Must display excellent customer service skills through creative problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to work efficiently in an environment with multiple work demands and short time frames
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Interpretation services available as interdisciplinary support
