Opportunity:

Adult RRT- Ashley River Tower

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holidays required
* First week orientation will be completed on day shift
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Floating, if any, would only be to Main Hospital with adult population using same policies, equipment, and charting requirements - no floating to sister facilities
* Emergency team activation as required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling available with prior approval, but not guaranteed
* At least 2 years of critical care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS
* South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
* Adult critical care experience required
* CRT candidates will be considered
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Patient population includes cardiovascular ICU (21 beds) with post-op cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery patients, heart and lung transplant, durable LVAD, temporary mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, IABP, Impella, and complex cardiology patients
* Medical-Surgical ICU (18 beds) with mixed medical and abdominal surgical patients including ARDS, septic shock, hematologic and oncologic emergencies, GI hemorrhage, pulmonary hypertension, and perforated viscous

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 total staffed beds. The Ashley River Tower campus features nearly 200 beds, including 2 ICUs, 2 step-down floors, 4 general acute care floors, and a 21-bed emergency department. The facility provides advanced specialty care including cardiovascular services, transplant programs, and mechanical circulatory support, making it a premier destination for complex and critically ill patients.
