Opportunity:
PET Technologist
Job Details:
* Work 5x8-hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
* No holiday shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Weekend coverage may be required on Saturdays up to twice a month if needed due to camera downtime or excessive backlog
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* Perform PET/CT scans and a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, brain scans, cardiac imaging, HIDA scans, renal scans, and whole body scans
* Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience with Siemens equipment required
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Scrub color: Teal top and black pants
* Agency must supply radiation badge facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Level 1 and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
* Block schedule may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains high standards of care consistent with its Magnet and trauma designations.
