Open Position: CT Technologist - CT Tech

Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Computed Tomography (C), SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS, and South Carolina license
* Must be registered in both Radiography and Computed Tomography modalities
* Experience highly preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Radiation badge must be provided by agency
* Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Provides quality imaging and patient care across X-ray and CT modalities
* Must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients and demonstrate competency in all procedures performed
* Produces images for interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Primarily adult population with some pediatric patients
* Key patient diagnoses include STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma cases
* Some outpatient procedures included
* Special equipment: Siemens X-ray and Siemens CT
* Skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, PACS, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, venipuncture, and peripheral IV starts
