Open Position: PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab Outpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1782.80

Opportunity:

PTA Outpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* 1:1 patient to therapist ratio
* Daily census of 7 patients
* At least 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must have experience and competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance
* Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions, post-surgical cases, balance and coordination disorders, debility/generalized weakness, and general med/surg diagnoses
* May float between locations if needed
* BLS certification required
* Meditech charting system experience preferred
* OK or compact license required
* Pending license accepted

The facility operates as a swing bed facility and provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services, among others.
