Opportunity:
RRT - Adult Critical Care/ED
Job Details:
* 5 years of experience preferred as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
* Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
* Weekend coverage required
* Will accept first-time travelers
* Charting system: Cerner
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Float within facility may be required within scope of practice
* Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
* Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, aerosol setup (mask and trach), BiPAP, CPAP, bronchoscopy, chest physiotherapy, drawing arterial blood gases, ET tube management, extubation, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), inhaled Flolan, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, nitric oxide (INo), pulmonary hygiene, SIMV, sputum specimen collection, suctioning (ETT, NT), tracheostomy care and management, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and additional respiratory therapies
* Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
* References required
* Copy of certifications required
