Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call required
* Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift per 4-week schedule period
* Holiday requirement: must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec. 24?Dec. 26 or New Year's: Dec. 31?Jan. 1)
* Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Float within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Block schedule available with manager approval dependent on unit needs
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: EPIC
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology to the community.
