Opportunity:

Mammography Tech - Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* Daily caseload of 55 patients
* Perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms per day
* Diagnostic mammography exams may be performed as the schedule allows
* Must be able to operate Siemens Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment - hard requirement
* Must perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms
* Float to sister facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed
* Facility does not allow call outs
* Overtime may be required - technologist must be willing to adjust shift hours if overtime is involved
* 1+ years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M)
* SC state license must be in hand prior to start
* Required skills: Hologic 3D, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Siemens
* No radiation badge required
* Scrub color: Any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom
* Charting system: Epic
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Fast-paced environment requiring autonomy, effective teamwork, strong communication, a positive attitude, and flexibility

Facility:

This outpatient clinic specializes in mammography services, providing comprehensive screening and diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population. The facility operates at a fast pace and emphasizes teamwork, communication, and flexibility among its staff. Unit orientation takes place on-site, and the facility uses Epic for charting. Staff and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
