Opportunity:

Procedure Scheduling Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekends off
* No on-call requirements
* In-person position at clinic - no floating between units required
* 1 year of experience working as an MA in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Procedure scheduling experience preferred; if not, outpatient cardiology experience is required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Washington State MA-C License required
* Required skills include vital signs (hearing screening, height/weight, 12-lead EKG/ECG, vital signs, pulse oximetry), patient history and medication/allergy documentation, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, telephone triage, and lab test review
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Position is open to local and non-local candidates
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement at the end of the contract

Facility:

This facility is a Heart & Vascular Clinic providing specialized cardiovascular care to adult and geriatric patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday and focuses on providing high-quality outpatient cardiac and vascular services, including procedure scheduling and diagnostic testing. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a collaborative, in-person care environment.
