Opportunity:

INPATIENT 5N Med Surg or Oncology RN

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts
* Schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with adults and geriatric patient populations
* Unit is a 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with med/surg overflow
* Oncology experience preferred but not required
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Previous charge nurse experience preferred
* Blocked schedule available
* Travel experience not required
* Scrubs not provided - burgundy and/or white scrubs required
* Charting system: Cerner (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all must be through American Heart Association); ONS chemo/bio certification preferred
* Required skills include IV starts, accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, chemotherapy administration, central line care, PICC line care, and wound care
* WV or Compact nursing license required; pending license accepted for submission
* Facility has a strict attendance policy - only 2-3 call offs permitted per contract
* Facility offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
