Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2414.20

Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 2nd floor of Building 7
* 26-bed Surgical ICU unit
* Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
* Work alongside a team of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift
* Utilize equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
* Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
* TNCC preferred
* Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive attitude

This medical center is a large acute care hospital and trauma facility featuring a 26-bed Surgical ICU equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO. The facility utilizes Meditech EMR and maintains a highly experienced staff dedicated to providing exceptional care for complex surgical and trauma patients. The unit fosters a driven and collaborative team environment focused on efficiency and quality patient outcomes.
