Opportunity:

OB Technician

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule working three 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* Call required as needed
* Minimum 1 year of experience required, with obstetrics experience preferred
* CNA certification required
* Scrub experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Vaginal delivery experience required
* Cesarean section experience required
* Assist in preparation of patient rooms and set up for procedures utilizing aseptic technique
* Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by providing needed supplies and instruments
* Assist nursing staff during deliveries including preparation, positioning, transporting, transferring, and discharging patients
* Collect urinalysis specimens and record maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake and output measurements
* Perform general unit tasks including turning rooms over, stocking, assembling charts, answering phones, responding to call lights, and updating census logs
* Provide personal care services and assist patients with activities of daily living
