Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit on the 4th floor
* Unit staffed with 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse per shift to support RN staff
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Work with equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE
* Required skills: EFM, SVE competency, C-section circulation, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable

Facility:

This facility is a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit equipped with modern technology and staffed by an experienced team of 150 nursing professionals. The unit operates with structured charge nurse leadership on both day and night shifts, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio to ensure quality patient care.
