Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend and every other holiday required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 15-bed unit with all private rooms
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 during days and 6:1 during nights
* Float to other medical/surgical units as needed
* Perform initial admissions and care for patients transitioning from the ER until they are assigned to a new unit
* Care for general medical/surgical patients in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Level I Trauma Center experience required
* Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience required
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Proficient use of Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
