Opportunity:

SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING + UNIT REVIEW

Job Details:

* Multiple shift options available: Days (7a-7p, 9a-9p), Mids (10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a, 1p-1a, 2p-2a), Eves (3p-3a), Nights (7p-7a)
* Weekend rotation every other weekend with flexibility for back-to-back weekends when needed
* No on-call responsibilities
* No floating required
* Patient ratios of 1:3-5 based on acuity level
* Minimum 3 years experience required in large volume ED with high acuity patients
* First time travelers not considered
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
* Epic EMR experience required
* Must pass hospital's triage test before being allowed to triage
* Care for patients from neonate to geriatric in Level III trauma center
* Handle pediatric emergency medicine, stroke patients (TNK administration), cardiac cases, behavioral health, and substance use disorders
* Skills required: barcode scanning med administration, medication drip management, blood product administration, chest tube setup, arterial line assistance, trauma and code case support, splinting, BiPAP/ventilator management
* Experience with Point of Care Labs preferred
* Scrub color: Any color, no logos permitted

Facility:

This 226-bed Level III non-profit community hospital features a busy 34-bed emergency department that sees 200-250 patients daily, making it the busiest ED in the state. The facility operates as a comprehensive trauma center providing specialized care including stroke treatment, cardiac services with cath lab capabilities, and pediatric emergency medicine. The emergency department is organized into zones including a 13-bed fast track green zone, and the hospital provides stabilization and transfer services for complex cases requiring specialized care.
