Opportunity:
Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
* Work 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shifts varying as work continues until procedures are complete
* Facility runs 4 to 5 labs per day with 2 CVT per lab, with a caseload of approximately 20 cases per day
* On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month plus one call shift and one evening shift every week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Holiday coverage required as needed
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
* Must be proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process), and SC license (SCRQSA)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Proficiency with special equipment including Impella, Balloon Pump, Angiojet, Shock Wave, MAC Lab, and Vidistar required
* Key skills include: accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, IVC filter placement, and embolization
* Patient diagnoses include: diagnostic and interventional coronary cath, diagnostic and interventional vascular, angioplasty, shockwave, temp pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, IVUS, FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac biopsies
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
* No parking fee; parking pass distributed at badge pickup

This is a 304-bed acute care hospital offering a comprehensive cardiac catheterization program operating across 5 labs. The facility supports a high-volume caseload of advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, utilizing modern equipment and technology including Impella, Balloon Pump, Angiojet, Shock Wave, MAC Lab documentation, and Vidistar image storage.
