Job Details:

* Work in a 6-OR Cardiovascular Operating Room unit located in the Heart Tower
* Hospital will provide scrubs; hospital surgical attire policy must be followed
* Patient ratio requires 1 scrub and 1 circulator per case; pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder (RN or CST)
* Unit staffing includes 1 Unit Secretary, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 PCA, and 1 Core Tech
* Stryker equipment used throughout the unit
* Documentation system: Cerner
* On-call shifts will be assigned and rotated among staff
* Floating to other units may be required on an infrequent basis
* Extensive expertise and experience in the RN Circulator role is required
* Scrub/first assist experience and proficiency is preferred but not required
* Procedures performed include: CABG, Valve Replacement, VAD Insertions, TAVR, VATS, Lobectomy, Pacemaker/AICD Insertions, Septal Myectomy, Ross Procedure, EVH, IABP Insertions, Femoral Cannulation, and Circulatory Arrest
* Required certifications: RN License, BLS
* No first-time travelers will be considered - no exceptions
