RN - Cardiac Step-Down

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Typically work every 3rd weekend and cover 1 holiday, subject to change based on census and staffing
* No on-call required, though may occasionally be asked to take a rare call day due to fluctuating census or staffing
* Minimum of 3 years cardiac step-down experience required
* Must have experience with heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-op open-heart patients, and cardiac/med-surg step-down patients
* Experience with Open-Heart procedures required
* Experience with Epic EMR required
* May be required to float to other units during low volumes or coverage crisis situations
* While ventilator patients are not typically admitted to this unit, candidate must be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed in rare circumstances
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
