Open Position: RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; 1.5 years of experience may be considered
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* No on-call required
* Weekend coverage may be needed
* First-time travelers accepted
* Block scheduling not available; traveler should be flexible
* No floating within facility required
* Required certifications: BLS and Wound Care Certification (WCC or WOCN preferred; course completion certificates not accepted, must be fully certified)
* Epic EMR experience required
* Serve as consultant and educator for wound, ostomy, and continence care
* Treat patient diagnoses including HAPI, Wound Consults, Ostomy, and Wound VAC
* Operate special equipment including WoundVision and Wound VAC
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma experience preferred
* Maximum RTO of 10 days or less must be included at time of submission

This large acute care facility operates with 886 beds and a daily census of 950 patients, reflecting a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare environment. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, lift teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
