Job Details:
* Position provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner according to location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans
* Shift may be 8-hour or 12-hour shifts; in-person at the facility
* No weekends or holidays required
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 12-hour shifts, or 40 hours per week for 8 to 10-hour shifts
* Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
* Oversees and ensures appropriate nutritional care for all residents according to physician orders, state and federal regulations, and resident care plans
* Ensures nutritious and appetizing meals, snacks, and supplements are planned, prepared, and served in a pleasant atmosphere
* Provides residents with opportunities for independence and choice consistent with their care plans
* Maintains privacy and confidentiality of residents
* Receives and shares information, observes and reports residents' conditions to appropriate staff
* Assesses residents' nutritional needs and documents nutritional care provided
* Follows infection control procedures and OSHA and CDC guidelines related to bloodborne pathogens
* Care setting is Post Acute
* Charting system used is Point Click Care (PCC)
* Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
* Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
* Prior applicable work experience preferred
* Completion of an accredited college program, registration with the American Dietetic Association, and/or state licensure as required
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* No on-call or call back available
