Job Details:

* 5x8 evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
* 1 year of experience required
* BLS certification required
* ARRT (R) and ARRT CT certification required
* RT-R-CT certification required
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Siemens equipment experience required
* Procedural experience required including iSTATs, Power Ports, and PPACs
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Performs a wide range of CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma studies
* Performs advanced procedures including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular chest imaging
* Performs interventional procedures including aspirations, biopsies, abscess drainages, and chest tube placement
* Experience with contrast media preparation and administration required
* Starting peripheral IVs required; PPAC and iSTAT creatinine training provided if necessary
* Radiation safety knowledge required
* Works with Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, general, and geriatric cases
* Travelers may be floated to any campus as needed
* Active license must be in hand at submission
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering comprehensive imaging and radiology services across multiple campuses. The facility supports a wide range of patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, and provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more. The imaging department operates three CT rooms and handles approximately 75 patient visits per day with a daily census of 105 CPTs.
