Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Opportunity:

Radiology/IR Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* On-call required for nights and weekends
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
* Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI
* Performs interventional radiology and special procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, embolization, carotid angiography, stent placement, and central venous access/port placement
* Performs dialysis graft interventions including fistulograms and declots, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Proficiency in TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), vertebroplasty, chemoembolization, and ultrasound preferred
* Responsible for equipment setup, prep of access site, and room circulator duties
* Maintains equipment and inventory and stocks supplies
* Proficient in PACS, sterile technique, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Experience with Stroke, Body IR, and Neuro IR procedures required
* Siemens equipment experience required
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
