Job Details:
* Work in a fast-paced CT department specializing in diagnostic and interventional CT procedures
* Oncology-based hospital environment serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Operate 2 Siemens CT scanners with interventional packages
* Daily census of approximately 40 patients with 2 rooms available
* Rotating after-hours and weekend call required every 5 weeks with current staffing
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
* Scrubs provided
* First-time travelers accepted
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
* Preferred certifications: ARRT R
* Required skills and experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, PACS, Siemens, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain perfusion, Drainage, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic, and Epic documentation
* Preferred skills and experience: Emergency Department, Colorectal studies (rectal contrast), Heart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography), Trauma head, Isolation Precautions, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture, Vascular CTA, Musculoskeletal trauma, and various CT Interventional Procedures
