Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
* Start times at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM
* On-call required 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month
* Minimum 5 years of experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Cath lab experience must include structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved AHA vendor), ACLS (AHA) or ARC-ALS
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
