Job Details:
* Evening shift, 5x8 hours with a primary start time of 1:30 PM, though hours may vary depending on departmental staffing and operational needs
* Additional shift start times may include 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, or 3:00 PM
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
* Strong multimodality candidate required with CT experience being mandatory
* Additional support in X-ray and OR preferred; candidates proficient in at least two of three modalities (CT, X-ray, OR) will be considered
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Must have EPIC experience
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Venipuncture (IV) certification
* Required licensure: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT), Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice, Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment, Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in CA
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
