Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts with varied days, evenings, and nights based on department need
* Required to work every weekend
* Float between Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (CT) and Westerly Hospital (RI)
* Must obtain both Connecticut and Rhode Island state licenses; may start with whichever license issues first while the other is pending
* Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience required; 2 years preferred
* Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required
* GE Optima CT660 Scanner experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Level III Trauma Center; Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Patient populations include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Night patient ratio: 2; Weekend patient ratio: 2
* Stroke Center and Trauma Center designation
* Special equipment includes ceiling Hoyer lift
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT licenses
* Key skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, abdomen/chest/pelvis imaging with and without contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Free parking available on site

This facility is a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center with 252 total staffed beds and is part of a large, well-established health system. The facility operates as a Stroke Center and Trauma Center, providing comprehensive care across multiple specialties and patient age groups. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced care environment.
