Opportunity:

CT/XRAY Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Thursday night shift schedule, 4 shifts of 10 hours each
* Shift hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block schedule required Monday through Thursday
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* After midnight, technologist will be the sole person on shift performing both CT and X-rays
* Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Daily census of approximately 50 with approximately 55 visits per day
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: any color
* No parking fee
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required skills include CT and X-ray procedures, multiplanar reconstruction, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, PACS, isolation precautions/PPE, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds. The facility serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups and provides a full range of imaging services including CT and X-ray. The facility is equipped with Epic charting and supports interdisciplinary care including interpretation services.
