Opportunity:

Pediatric Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts with staggered start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM
* No holiday shifts required
* No weekends required
* No on-call required
* Floating required between two clinic locations approximately 10 miles apart
* Daily caseload of 4 to 10 patients per tech
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and have extensive knowledge of complex congenital heart defects
* Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification (FE also, if applicable) or CCI with RCCS certification required and must be in hand at time of start
* Proficiency with GE equipment (Vivid 95, Pioneer, Voluson) preferred
* Experience with PACS system and entering full reports preferred
* Proficiency with fetal echos highly preferred
* BLS certification required
* Radiation badge not required
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September
