RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Self-scheduling unit
* Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
* Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to a sister hospital as needed
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Holiday work expectations apply based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
* 36 orientation hours required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
* Required skills include: accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac cath lab, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, interpretation of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, isolation precautions/PPE, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, EKG lead placement, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, right heart catheterization, room circulator, rotablator atherectomy, sterile field maintenance, temporary pacemaker, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required
