Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor is assigned
* Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off
* Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patient population and fast-paced work environment
* Knowledge of ortho, neuro, and cardiovascular service lines required; GI scope experience required
* Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand up to 5 hours

* Charting system: Epic

* Required certifications: BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Required skills include: Chemical agents for decontamination, disinfectants, use of washers/sterilizers, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, dental, ear/nose/throat, general, laparoscopic, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, robotics, and urology
* Additional preferred skills include: Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER), biological indicators, bronchoscopes, cardiac, chemical indicators, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), cystoscopes, EGD scopes, endoscopes, endoscopy, equipment documentation, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes, high-level disinfection (HLD), immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), OB/GYN, ophthalmology, ortho/total joints, podiatry, proper selection of wrapping materials, robotics, scope/probe reprocessing, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM), Steris testing/monitoring, transplant, uteroscopes, vascular, and neuro/cranial
