Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Weekend rotation schedule to be discussed during interview
* Call required - typically one weekday of call per week and one weekend every 5 to 6 weeks
* Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed, including to Main OR
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Day shift patient ratios apply; adult and geriatric patient populations
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), MAZE Procedure, Mitral Valve Replacement, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Thoracotomy, VATS, Carotid Endarterectomy, Carotid Artery Stenting, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Abdominal and Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Arteriovenous Fistula Repair, Lobe Resection, and Scrub experience in Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory and interpretation services
* No self-scheduling; block schedules are not honored
* Travel pairs are not accepted on this unit
* If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
* Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
