Opportunity:
MRI Technologist - Radiology
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule working either 5x8s or 4x10s between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM
* Standard shift hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Call rotation required one week at a time every 3rd week
* Call required every 3rd weekend
* Call required on holidays
* Perform Cardiac MRI, MRI/MRA of various anatomy, and MRCP studies
* No breast MRI imaging performed
* Average of 10 to 16 scans per scanner per day
* Work with GE equipment as primary scanner and Siemens mobile unit
* Use MERGE PACS and Cerner for imaging and charting; transitioning to EPIC at end of October
* Department has 2 scanners, including one mobile unit
* Must be proficient in starting IVs
* Radiology supervisor on day shift with alternating lead tech coverage
* Radiologist in-house on day shift
* No floating or covering other areas required
* Royal blue scrubs required; hospital scrubs can be provided if needed
* 10 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
* Arkansas State License required

This acute care facility features a well-equipped Radiology and MRI department with two scanners, including a newly arriving mobile unit. The department is supported by experienced supervisory staff and in-house radiologists on day shifts, and utilizes industry-standard imaging and electronic health record systems.
