CT Tech - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Weekend schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday no weekend RTO permitted
* 2 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) on Saturday and Sunday, plus 1 x 12-hour mid shift (3:00 PM 3:00 AM) on Monday
* 36 hours offered per week
* No call requirement
* No float requirement
* Very fast-paced emergency department environment
* Daily caseload of 150?200 scans across 4 rooms
* Typical caseload for one tech in a 12-hour shift is 15?20 patients
* Staffing levels vary by shift: 4?5 techs on first shift, 2?3 techs after 5:00 PM, 1 tech on third shift, and 2 techs on weekends
* Perform routine ED CT scans, Code Stroke, and Level II trauma cases
* CT procedure experience required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
* Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Must have experience in Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings
* Preferred experience: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage
* Must have experience with GE and Siemens FORCE scanner Siemens experience is required (S3000 and Sequoia models on-site)
* Must have experience in a 500+ bed hospital
* Charting systems used: EPIC and Visage
* Scrubs not provided Royal Blue required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required

This is a large 650-bed facility operating at Level II Trauma designation, featuring a high-volume emergency department with multiple CT scanner rooms. The facility utilizes advanced imaging technology including Siemens FORCE, S3000, and Sequoia scanners, and supports a wide range of complex cases including code strokes and trauma patients. The department operates around the clock with a robust team of imaging professionals supporting a fast-paced, high-acuity patient population across all age groups.
