Opportunity:

House Sup/Bed Placement RN Coordinator

Job Details:

* Serve as a Bed Placement RN Coordinator functioning within the Admit/Transfer Center
* Flexible shift lengths of 10 or 12 hours available
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* This is a no patient contact position
* Will work closely with the house supervisor
* Must have experience with intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or in a transfer center required
* At least 1 year of relevant experience required
* Required skills include: Crisis Intervention/Management, Emergency Department, Emergency Preparedness, Facility/Bed Diversion, ICU, Inpatient Acute Care, MS/Tele, New Admissions, NICU, Organizational Escalation Process, Pediatrics, PICU, Post Procedures, Post Surgery, Surgical Services, and Transfer to Higher Level Care
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Scrub color: Any color
* Washington RN License required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

Facility:

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. As a teaching hospital, it supports a wide range of patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic for charting, offers complimentary parking, and provides interdisciplinary support services including interpretation services and social services.
