Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3215.80

Opportunity:

Radiology - NUC MED

Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Rotating weekend call coverage every 4th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 24 hours)
* Call requirement of one day per week when not on weekend call
* Acute care setting
* Average of 12-15 scans/studies performed per day
* Perform cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, lung scans, thyroid uptake, and tilt studies
* Work with 2 Siemens E-cam and 2 Philips Brightview scanners across 4 rooms
* Department utilizes Meditech Expanse EMR and AGFA IMPAX PACS systems
* Charting system: EPIC
* Must have IV start and EKG skills
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Radiologist is in-house
* Black colored scrubs required - no embroidery, no t-shirts, scrub jacket only if needed for warmth, no Crocs with holes or open backs
* Scrubs are not provided
* Required certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT), BLS
* WV State Licensure required
* Radiation badge required - must be provided by agency
* Copy of unexpired driver's license must be submitted with application
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment/extension, 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks

This acute care facility maintains a well-equipped Nuclear Medicine department with four imaging rooms and an in-house radiologist providing comprehensive support. The department utilizes modern imaging equipment and advanced EMR and PACS systems to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
