Open Position: Lab Specialist - MLT

Opportunity:

MLT (Chemistry and Microbiology)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Alternating weekend schedule required (every other weekend)
* No on-call required
* Will not float between service lines
* Focus exclusively on Chemistry and Microbiology departments
* At least 1 year of General Lab experience required
* Experience with Alinity, BioFire, and Cepheid analyzers preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ASCP with MLS or MLT, or AMT with MLS or MLT
* State license is not required
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Burgundy/Wine
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule requests may be submitted prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission and is subject to facility approval

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds. The organization provides comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groups including infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers a modern clinical laboratory environment equipped to support a broad spectrum of diagnostic and laboratory services.
