Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Specialist - EP Lab

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Float required as needed across campuses
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Required skills and experience: arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage (LAA) closure, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table study
* Preferred skills: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies
* Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and acute procedures while maintaining strict asepsis and ensuring patient safety
* Prepare specialty EP equipment for accurate and reliable diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Complete control room duties utilizing physiologic monitoring, EP-specific monitoring and mapping systems, angiographic/fluoroscopic imaging, and digital analysis
* Provide care in the circulating role during elective and emergency procedures
* Support EP-specific functions including digital archiving of studies and supply distribution
* Provide continuous care in the Catheterization Lab Holding area and cross-train in multiple departments
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Patient population: Adults
* Active license must be in hand at submission
* Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; current driver's license required to verify address

This facility operates a 9-room lab with 2 highly active electrophysiology labs performing ablations, implants, and left atrial appendage closures. The team works in a multidisciplinary setting focused on delivering excellent patient outcomes. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and is committed to high-quality, safe, and culturally competent patient care across all operational areas.
