Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
* Work in a 50-bed Emergency Department
* Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 (not guaranteed)
* Day shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
* Mid shift staffing includes 8-10 RNs
* Night shift staffing includes 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics
* Use equipment including EKG machines, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose monitors
* Work with Meditech electronic medical records system
* Complete all emergency department care needs for patients
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
* Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
* Stroke experience preferred
* Collaborative, energetic, and communicative personality style preferred

This emergency department facility operates a large, well-staffed 50-bed unit with a dedicated team of registered nurses and EMT/Medic professionals. The facility is equipped with modern cardiac monitoring technology and utilizes an established electronic medical records system to support efficient patient care. The unit maintains a collaborative and energetic work environment, with experienced staff and a strong commitment to comprehensive emergency care services.
