Opportunity:
RN - OR (Cardiovascular/Thoracic)
Job Details:
* Cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant, and robotics (thoracic) experience preferred
* Call requirements include 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
* Weekends included in call requirements
* Float required within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
* All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site
* No requested time off permitted during orientation week (Monday through Sunday)
* Holiday work expectations apply based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Lung resection/Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, TEVAR, TAVR, VATS, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and airway management
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
