Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:6 on days, nights, and weekends
* 38-bed unit with an average daily census of 33
* Every other weekend shift required
* Floating required to other similar units within facility and scope of practice as needed
* No call requirements
* Holiday coverage required - travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* 24 orientation hours required
* Required charting system experience: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
* Required certification: BLS
* Required skills: Med/Surg, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
