Open Position: RN - Tele Neuro

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1831.60

Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Rotating weekends required with 2 weekend day commitments and flexibility to meet unit needs
* No on-call requirements
* 2+ years of hospital experience required
* Telemetry experience with NIH stroke scale required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Neuro-stroke, seizure, neurological disorder, cardiac, and neuro-surgical experience preferred
* Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
* Perform peripheral IV starts, Foley and NGT insertions, and chart using Meditech
* All travelers are required to float per Methodist Floating Policy
* Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs
* Nail policy: Clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
