Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system experience required; Epic utilized
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Common patient diagnoses include UTI, pneumonia, respiratory failure/COPD, sepsis, AKI, chest pain, cellulitis, and altered mental status
* Required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of cardiac drips (no titration), management of dysrhythmias, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care/management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy

Facility:

This facility operates a 36-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit with a daily census of approximately 30 patients. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy, ensuring well-rounded patient care across a range of medical conditions.
