Open Position: Lab Specialist - Clinical Lab Scientist

Opportunity:

Medical Lab Scientist / Laboratory

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend is required
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers are not accepted
* Will function as Blood Bank, Generalist, and Caller
* Required to float within skillset to meet facility needs
* Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
* All requested time off must be submitted with application and approved before offer
* ASCP certification is required
* Beckman Coulter DxI and DxC experience is required
* Beckman Coulter DxH 600T experience is required
* Sunquest system experience is required
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Required skills include: hospital clinical laboratory, cardiac enzymes, immunoassay, therapeutic drug monitoring, CBC manual, manual differential, platelet aggregation, reticulocyte count, body fluids, microscopic urinalysis, quality assurance and controls, specimen collection, and pipetting
