Opportunity:

RN - TRANSPLANT SERVICE

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
* Outpatient transplant services unit focusing on abdominal transplants including liver, kidney, and pancreas
* Primarily a desk-based role requiring proficient computer skills
* Must be proficient with MediTech and Microsoft applications
* EMR systems used: MediTech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper
* Potential clinic days that include rooming and assessing patients
* WebEx meetings as needed
* Flexibility required in patient assignments including pre-transplant, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant patients
* Must maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor while managing complex patient psychosocial needs
* Transplant experience not required as this is an outpatient role; must be willing to jump in and help
* Two or more years of transplant experience preferred
* Experience with United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) preferred
* Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) experience preferred
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs or business casual
* Required certification: BLS

This outpatient transplant services facility specializes in abdominal organ transplants, including liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants. The unit supports a multidisciplinary team of 60 to 70 staff members and serves patients across the full continuum of transplant care, from pre-transplant evaluation through post-transplant follow-up. The facility utilizes advanced electronic medical record systems and fosters a collaborative, patient-centered environment dedicated to meeting the complex medical and psychosocial needs of transplant patients.
