Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotating shift schedule with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
* 8-hour shift times: 6:30 AM?2:30 PM and 2:30 PM?10:30 PM
* 12-hour shift times: 6:30 AM?6:30 PM and 10:30 AM?10:30 PM
* Option for Day/Evening rotating 5x8-hour shifts also available (6:30 AM?2:30 PM / 2:30 PM?10:30 PM)
* Shift rotation is required
* Call requirements: 2?4 weeknight call shifts and 1?2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule
* No call shift is ever longer than 12 hours; weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only, or Saturday and Sunday during the day only
* Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Must be able to cardiac scrub
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required between days and afternoons
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* 10-room OR suite
* Procedures include complex and high-acuity cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
* Cardiac procedures: CABG, LVAD/RVAD, Heart Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, MVR, AVR, ECMO, MAZE, Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices
* Thoracic procedures: Lung Transplant, VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy (Minimally Invasive & Transhiatal), Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair
* Vascular procedures: AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, Vein stripping/ablation
* Required certifications: BLS
* Michigan license must be in-hand at time of submission (not compact)
* 2 manager/supervisor references required (hard stop)
* SPD instrument tracking system: Censitrac required
* 40-hour orientation; modules completed onsite during orientation
* No RTO during the first week of contract; RTO must be submitted at time of submission
* Up to two pre-approved time-off requests allowed
